Developed and manufactured by Japan’s Goryo Chemicals, Inc., (https://goryochemical.com), the fluorogenic probe ProteoGREEN™-gGlu constitutes one of the easiest means to detect and image cancer cells by fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry.

ProteoGREEN™-gGlu is rapidly activated by g-glutamyltranspeptidase (GGT), which is known to be a tumor-associated enzyme, to give a highly fluorescent compound. The membrane-permeable ProteoGREEN™-gGlu is applicable to live cells or in vivo imaging of cancer cells.
