National Lab Repair Continues Expansion

Gaithersburg, Maryland — Finding a company to service a home’s refrigerator or freezer isn’t hard to do. All anyone needs to search the Internet for appliance repair services in their area and call for an appointment once they’ve found one that you think will do a good job. However, if they have a business that has specialty equipment, such as liquid nitrogen freezers, blood bank freezers, centrifuges or water baths, they probably will have a harder time finding repair technicians that work on that type of equipment.

Equipment used for medical purposes or in laboratories need to be repaired to exact specifications and many times, if they break down, they need to be repaired quickly. Low temperature freezer repair requires a technician who knows what he or she is doing. If blood or laboratory specimens are lost due to a broken piece of equipment, it not only means the loss of thousands, if not millions, of dollars, but it also could mean that the patients who would’ve been helped with the blood or the test results may have to wait longer for their treatments.

Finding Qualified Technicians

“Our association can help you find a qualified ultra low temperature freezer technician in your area that specializes in service laboratory equipment of all types. Whether it is a cryostat, an incubator or a number of other medical and lab equipment, we can find you an independent service company to take care of your needs,” says Tracy Fogle of Diversified Laboratory Repair and member of National Lab Repair. It is important that repair technicians who service these types of equipment are not only qualified, but that they hold the necessary licenses and certifications showing they know how to repair this equipment. National Lab Repair is an association of companies who have come together in order to help people find the qualified service they need. They have recently launched their website, and they hope will help people contact the repair company in their area that can give them the service that they require.

The association members are companies that are well qualified in the repair of medical and laboratory equipment brands such as Chart Biomedical, Eppendorf, Follett and Sanyo, just to name a few. “The full list of the brands we service are listed on our site so you can check to see if the brands you own are listed there. If they are, we will find a technician who can help you with repairs,” states Tracy Fogle.

“Even if a comapny just need preventive maintenance scheduled or calibrations done on their equipment, one of our members will be to service your needs,” stated an employee when describing their level of service. If you have any questions, call National Lab Repair for more information.
