New nanoViper UHPLC Fingertight Fitting for Nano LC

Sunnyvale, CA—Dionex Corporation introduces the nanoViper™ fitting, a 100 MPa compatible, patentpending, fingertight fitting system to be used with nano LC systems and nano and capillary columns.

This new member of the Viper™ fitting system does not rely on ferrules or ferrule-shaped parts to tighten to high- and ultrahigh-pressure instruments. The new fitting system provides three important customer values: first, it provides a correct fitting each time it is used; second, it ensures zero-dead-volume connections; and third, it fits to any common column hardware or injection/switching valve platform in the nano LC market.

The nanoViper fittings are designed to prevent capillaries from slipping away from the column inlet even under ultrahigh pressures, guaranteeing long-term, robust, and zero-dead-volume operation. The nanoViper fitting system provides highest ease-of-use as it reconnects easily between different column hardware. It also features an integrated, removable tool to tighten without force, and it even fits spaces as small as the connections of a 10-port valve, once the integrated tool is removed.
