Oxford Instruments Asylum Research Announces New Sample Heating Capability for its Value-Priced MFP-3D Origin Atomic Force Microscope

Santa Barbara, CA — Oxford Instruments Asylum Research announces the release of a new high temperature sample heater accessory for the MFP-3D Origin™ AFM. The Origin is Asylum’s most affordable AFM and has proven very popular with new professors and other researchers looking to stretch their research budgets while still getting a high performance, reliable AFM with future upgrade potential. With the release of the new PolyHeater™ for the MFP-3D Origin, researchers can now take advantage of this powerful environmental capability with their initial AFM system purchase. This will allow even more people to join the growing number of researchers who have already discovered why the MFP-3D Origin is the best place to start with AFM.

“The MFP-3D Origin has allowed more researchers to experience the performance and reliability of Asylum Research AFMs,” said Nicholas Geisse, Product Line Manager for the MFP-3D AFM family. “The addition of a high temperature sample heating option makes the Origin a great place to start for those who want to use AFM to investigate polymers and other materials with strong temperature-dependent properties. The MFP-3D Origin proves that there is no need to settle for out-dated technology or lesser performance to get a value-priced AFM.”

The Origin heater is a modular heating stage designed for high temperature studies from ambient to 275°C in a completely controlled environment. Additional information can be found at our website at: www.oxford-instruments.com/Origin.
