Madison, WI. – SciLog is proud to announce the addition of U.S. Patent #7,788,047 for “Disposable, Pre-Calibrated, Pre-Validated Sensors for Use in Bio-Processing Applications” to its single use patent portfolio.

SciLog provides pre-calibrated, single-use conductivity (SciCon), pressure (SciPres) and temperature (SciTemp) sensors. These innovative sensors are designed with process scalability in mind and are available with five different fluid connection sizes, ranging from Luer to 1.0″ TC. Each sensor comes with a Calibration Certificate and requisite compliance statements. All sensors are NIST traceable by sensor ID. Sensor ID and associated calibration data are stored in a gamma-stable memory residing on each sensor.

SciLog’s extensive single-use technology patent portfolio also includes U.S. patents (6,7612,963 and 7,052,603) and international patents that address “Single-use Manifolds for Automated, Aseptic Transfer of Solutions in Bio-Processing Applications.” Specifically, these patents address the challenges and provide the solutions relevant to downstream, single-use purification by tangential flow filtration (TFF), preparative chromatography and normal flow filtration (NFF).
