PerkinElmer Opening In Vivo Imaging Institute in Shanghai, China
PerkinElmer, Inc., a global leader focused on improving the health and safety of people and the environment, will be opening a
new training and demo laboratory for in vivo imaging technology at Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. The facility
is a state-of-the-art laboratory space where PerkinElmer scientists and customers can interact and share insights for the life
sciences market. This center is a result of PerkinElmer’s close collaboration with the Medical College and will provide greater
access to these industry leading technologies, providing customers with firsthand experience to increase the use of these
solutions in fundamental research and translational imaging applications.
The center will include the following technologies:
The IVIS® SpectrumCT™ In Vivo Imaging system enabling non-invasive longitudinal monitoring of disease progression, cell
trafficking and gene expression patterns in live animals through integrated 2D and 3D tomographic optical and microCT.

The Lumina™ Series III In Vivo imaging systems have capabilities for bioluminescent and fluorescent reporters integrated
with X-Ray and real time imaging.

? IVIS Lumina XR Series III Pre-clinical In Vivo Imaging System
The Quantum FX™ microCT Pre-clinical In Vivo Imaging system delivering fast and high resolution images while using low
dose X-ray.
The FMT® Fluorescence Tomography series provides 3D fluorescence tomography for a variety of applications including
oncology, inflammation and cardiovascular disease.
