Porvair plc Won Orders for New Seal Analytical Water Analyser

Porvair plc (“Porvair”), the specialist filtration and environmental technology group, today announces that the first orders have been received for a new Seal Analytical (“Seal”) water analyser launched in February 2010.

The new Seal AQ1 analyser is the first significant product launch from Seal since its acquisition by Porvair in July 2008. The AQ1 provides an automated water testing solution for smaller laboratories and expands Seal’s range of market leading discrete and continuous flow analysers for environmental testing.

Trading at Seal in the first quarter of 2010 has been encouraging, as it has been for Porvair as a whole. A fuller review of current trading will be given in the Group’s IMS and AGM statement scheduled for 13 April 2010.

Ben Stocks, CEO of Porvair, commented:

“Porvair has started 2010 well. The new AQ1 will help maintain momentum at Seal Analytical and is a key part of the Group’s strategy to expand its services to environmental laboratories around the world.”

Porvair is a group of specialist filtration and environmental technology businesses. Its businesses design and manufacture a range of bespoke consumable filtration products that are used in a range of niche filtration markets. Its principal markets are aviation, energy and industrial process, environmental laboratories and non-ferrous metals.
