P&P Optica Announces Iris, Advanced Spectroscopic Data Analysis and Acquisition Software Suite

WATERLOO, ONTARIO–P&P Optica Inc., a world leader in the development of high performance spectrometers, announced today the release of Iris, a suite of powerful new data analysis software products aimed at improving the usability of spectroscopic instruments. The Iris software suite is available for P&P Optica’s industry leading spectroscopy products as well as other spectroscopic platforms in use today.

Iris delivers advanced data processing techniques that previously required complex scripting and mathematical processing, and makes those user requirements available in a sleek and intuitive visual interface. The software suite includes features such as: automatic calibration, aberration correction, automatic channel detection, automatic peak detection and hyperspectral data set creation.

The software team at P&P Optica set out to design a software platform that would provide the spectroscopy industry with powerful performance and functionality, delivered through an intuitive, easy to use interface. “This software platform provides unprecedented performance and usability for the spectroscopy market,” says Olga Pawluczyk, President and CEO of P&P Optica. “We look forward to continuing to work closely with our customers and partners to further develop advanced software, hardware products and gratings for the optical spectroscopy market.”

Iris is available for purchase bundled with the company’s line of spectroscopy products, or as a standalone software platform for integration with other common spectroscopy platforms in use in the market today.

About P&P Optica

P&P Optica specializes in high performance spectroscopy systems. These systems are based on the Company’s high efficiency holographic gel transmission gratings and design optics, which when combined enable a line of spectroscopy products that provide the highest efficiency and lowest distortion available in the market today. P&P Optica’s spectrometers allow customers to measure very small concentrations of substances, significantly lower than other available systems on the market today, and as a result enable significantly higher quality spectra. In addition, the company’s systems are modular so they can be easily tailored to meet customer requirements. To find out more call us at 1-800-706-3811 or visit our website: www.ppo.ca.
