Rapid impurity amplification service announced by YMC.
Finding high end user interest in the unique N-Rich functionality embedded in the Contichrom CUBE instrument, YMC launches an in-house service to amplify minute impurity peaks for end users.
Devens, MA USA – YMC America adds to its lab services a program to magnify impurities in small and large biologics. Increasing otherwise minute peaks enables more rapid identification of impurities required for regulatory submissions.
YMC America, a leading supplier of molecular separation resins, services and systems for the bio/pharmaceutical market, will expand its lab services offering to include the NRich technique for the automated amplification of minute impurities. A technique that has been long been available within the Contichrom CUBE instrument, will now be also available as a contract service.
Targeted for those who need to know what impurities are in their solutions, those who need to isolate impurities to make analytical standards or those who need to purify and enrich the charge variants in their product to better characterize a process, the N-Rich service offers a means to get your answers without diverting staff to what can be a tedious and time-consuming task.
This method is even possible for separations that are difficult and with very low concentrations that typically require significant time and effort to isolate. Studies that were not possible or were prohibitively resource intensive, can be accomplished with the concentrated and highly purified material generated by the N-Rich technology. This amplification step is highly helpful in supporting regulatory documentation and during drug development. The typical turnaround time is just several weeks. The service is available for many oligonucleotide, peptide, and protein solutions.
The deliverables once the service is complete (typically in a few weeks) is a vial of impurities concentrated for further studies / identification and a formal report of methods and findings.
Leading biotech’s have published how beneficial they have found the N-Rich technique to be in their own quality and process labs and other case studies are available from YMC. This service is also offered in many of YMC’s global labs in Europe and Asia.
The YMC Group provides a range of chromatography resins, columns and services which enable small and large molecule researchers and manufacturers to access a full complement of resources to facilitate the cost-effective production and QC of next generation drugs. This expansion in services capabilities in the America’s builds on the global leadership role in continuous separation / purification technology of the global YMC group.
