Milan, Italy – SAES Getters S.p.A. is restructuring to gain efficiency and enhance technological synergies. In its Analytical Technolgies Business Area, it will move all outlying operations of its Trace Analtical and Saes Pure Gas businesses to Sparks, Maryland, the location of Molecular Analytics’ headquarters. The relocations will bring together ion mobility spectrometry and GC technologies, enabling the development of new applications. Net sales for the first half of 2001 were $1.9 million for Trace Analytical and $2.3 million for Molecular Analytics.
