Sartorius Expands Production Site in England

Goettingen, Germany | Stonehouse, England – Sartorius, a leading international pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment provider, opened a new plant at its Stonehouse site (Gloucestershire), doubling its local production capacities. Together with Princess Anne, member of the Royal Family, and nearly 100 guests, Group CEO Dr. Joachim Kreuzburg and Chris Biddell, the managing director of the U.K. subsidiary Sartorius Stedim Lab Ltd., officially opened the new building covering approximately 4,800 square meters (52,000 sq. ft.). Around 110 employees currently work at this facility in production and R&D.

In his opening speech, Joachim Kreuzburg stated: “Sartorius is growing dynamically, particularly with single-use products as are manufactured here in Stonehouse. To promote this positive development, we are currently investing substantially into the expansion of our global infrastructure.
