Shimadzu to Showcase Full Range of Analytical Instruments at AAPS and EAS Shows

COLUMBIA, Md. – Shimadzu Scientific Instruments will feature a wide variety of instruments at the Eastern Analytical Symposium and Exposition, Nov. 15-18 at the Garden State Exhibit Center (booth 1524) in Somerset, N.J., and this year’s American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists meeting and exposition, November 14-18 at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans (booth 243). From chromatography and spectroscopy to mass spectrometers, TOC analyzers and balances, Shimadzu’s full array of solutions will be on display.

Featured products include the Nexera UHPLC, which meets all analysis requirements with no compromise in data integrity; the GCMS-QP2010 Ultra, which features best-in-class speed and sensitivity; and the micro-volume BioSpec-nano UV spectrophotometer. In addition, Shimadzu will be highlighting the following new developments:

• Nexera Low-pressure Gradient (LPGE) unit — Offers both a quaternary gradient and flexible solvent selection in the method development process, providing dynamic solvent blending and continuous analysis by multiple mobile phase conditions.

• LabSolutions Ver. 5.3 integrated LC/GC control software — Enables configuration of up to 16 LC/GC systems on a small area network, allowing for greater flexibility, more efficient operation, better access to information and improved management capabilities.

• Waters Empower™/Shimadzu GC Driver — Offers seamless control of Shimadzu’s GC-2010 Plus and GC-2014 in an Empower environment.

At EAS, Shimadzu will also be presenting the following posters:

• Evaluation of MS Scanning Speeds with UHPLC Peak Widths

• Evaluation of the Current Capabilities of Ultra-High Pres¬sure LC and High Temperature LC
