Spark Holland Inc. Becomes iChrom Solutions Inc.

Emmen, NL — Spark Holland B.V. (https://www.sparkholland.com), a leading supplier of analytical instrumentation, announced it has sold its fully owned North American subsidiary, Spark Holland Inc., to a private equity group. Transaction terms were not disclosed. The newly named company, iChrom Solutions Incorporated (https://www.ichrom.com), will transition to a Premium Partner of Spark Holland’s and be managed by John Crutchfield, who served as general manager of Spark Holland Inc.

As a Premium Partner and one of Spark’s largest distribution partners, iChrom will be fully certified by Spark Holland to provide all sales and support services for end?user customers in North America. iChrom Solutions will focus on improving sales, marketing, and support activities for all Spark products, including Symbiosis Online Sample Preparation Systems, UHPLC systems, Autosamplers, Pumps, and other front?end sample handling systems.

“This is a valuable move to improve our commitment to our local end?user market,” said Sebastiaan Portier, director of sales and marketing for Spark Holland. “Our strategy is to get local market and technical support through our Partners, like iChrom, who will be trained and certified by Spark. Our Partners will provide us with essential input as we continue investing to remain a front?runner in liquid handling and sample preparation technology.”
