SPECTRO GENESIS EOP/SOP IS COST EFFECTIVE, SIMULTANEOUS CCD ICP-OES SPECTROMETER
MAHWAH, NJ– SPECTRO Analytical Instruments launches the new SPECTRO GENESIS in Chicago at the PITTCON 2009 Conference. The optical emission spectrometer with inductively coupled plasma excitation (ICP-OES) records the entire spectrum between 175 and 777 nm, enabling the simultaneous determination of more than 70 elements. The system provides users with unmatched flexibility and true simultaneous CCD performance, at a price level normally found for sequential ICP instruments.
The new SPECTRO GENESIS utilizes the solid state high-voltage power supply used in it’s larger and more powerful sister, the SPECTRO ARCOS, offering excellent durability and performance. Other features include a more ergonomic design, reduction in system weight, and updated software offering simplified operation and full compatibility for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
The SPECTRO GENESIS is designed to meet the special requirements of industrial users. Typical applications include the examination of industrial waste water, the analysis of wear metals and additives in oils, examination of soils and sludge in the agricultural industry, and a variety of applications within the chemical industry.
