The spectrometer BRA-135F was delivered to Nigeria

On June of 2019 Bourevestnik, JSC delivered and placed in operation X-ray fluorescence energy dispersive general purpose spectrometer BRA-135F for National Metallurgical Development Centre (NMDC) situated in Jos, Nigeria.

NMDC is Research and Development organization with the mandate to carry out research and development activities for metallurgical and allied industries to develop the nation’s solid minerals sector.

By the means of spectrometer BRA-135F NMDC is solving tasks of semi-quantitative analysis for powder samples with unknown composition mainly using advanced features of fundamental parameters method. Measurement capacity of spectrometer is in the 40 to 100 samples range per day.

Spectrometer BRA-135F allows simultaneous determination of chemical elements by characteristic energies in the 1 to 30 keV range (where elements from F till U are fitted) over a wide scope of concentrations from hundreds ppb. BRA-135F analyzes solid, powder and liquid samples, thin layer on the surface or precipitated on filters.

Bourevestnik, JSC is the largest enterprise in the CIS for research, development and manufacture of X-ray equipment for industrial and scientific purposes. Subsidiary of PJSC ALROSA.
