Teledyne CETAC Technologies Introduces the Analyte HE High Energy Excimer Laser Ablation System
/
The Analyte HE is the most flexible laser ablation system on the market today for high quality analytical data.
Omaha, NE USA / November 17, 2017 – Teledyne CETAC introduces the Analyte HE High Energy Excimer Laser Ablation System. The Analyte HE gives Teledyne CETAC a full range of laser ablation systems, which includes infrared Fusions lasers, solid state 213nm systems, a class leading ATL ‘short pulse’ Excimer 193nm laser and fully turnkey femtosecond laser ablation systems. The Analyte HE offers excimer technology at 193nm with all the analytical capabilities one requires in order to deliver finely controlled, “homogenized-flat” ablations with high sensitivity and split second response.
“By incorporating a high energy long pulse width excimer laser, the Analyte HE is a tool specifically designed to address the small number challenging applications such as the analysis of fluorite, high purity quartz, and specific mineral phases where a long pulse (20ns) laser system is required,” stated Damon Green, Teledyne CETAC VP of Marketing and Technology. Green added, “Based on the field proven Analyte Excite laser ablation technology and incorporating the HelEx cell that offers the most flexible solution to generating high quality analytical data of any laser ablation system on the market today.”
With enough energy to ablate even the most challenging materials, the Analyte HE allows the user to analyze all materials, including hard quartz and resilient carbonates with confidence.
Features and benefits of the Analyte HE include:
Ultra-short 193nm wavelength
Up to 50J/cm2 fluence ablates all materials, including quartz and fluorite
Optical homogenization of the laser beam for uniform flat ablations
Sealed gas cabinet
100 × 100mm stage travel as standard, 150 x 150 travel option available
Synchronized “fire-on-the-fly” lasing for the ultimate depth control during ablation
Independent video and lasing optical element for optimal viewing and crater quality
Aperture imaged spots ranging from 2μm to 175μm
30 apertures as standard; custom masks available
HelEx II active 2-volume ablation cell as standard
