Teledyne LABS Introduces CombiFlash® SFC: Making Supercritical Fluid Chromatography as Accessible as Flash Chromatography

Lincoln, NE – ​Teledyne LABS today announced the launch of the CombiFlash® SFC​ at the ACS Fall 2026 National Meeting in Chicago, introducing a purification platform designed to make supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) more accessible through a familiar flash chromatography workflow. The CombiFlash SFC enables scientists to explore Flash SFC purification using intuitive operation, simplified method development, and the proven workflow that has made flash chromatography a widely adopted purification technique.​

The CombiFlash SFC was developed to address common purification challenges faced by chromatography users, including increasing demands for purification throughput, long solvent evaporation times, solvent costs, waste generation, and sustainability initiatives. By incorporating supercritical fluid technology into a workflow familiar to flash chromatography users, the system helps laboratories explore new separation capabilities while minimizing the learning curve often associated with implementing new purification approaches.

Using carbon dioxide as the primary mobile phase, CombiFlash SFC can reduce organic solvent consumption while significantly reducing solvent evaporation requirements and post-purification processing burden.
