technology for analyzing trace organic chemicals by gas chromatography. The company is world leader in analytical thermal desorption technology, and its ALMSCO division supplies groundbreaking time-of-flight mass spectrometers. The company’s focus, facilities and all employees will remain, and the founders stay on as leaders of the management team and co-shareholders.
For the Schauenburg International Group, this acquisition signifies a very important strategic step in enlarging their activities in the field of environmental monitoring, further strengthening Schauenburg’s Electronic Technologies division. The clients and suppliers of both companies will benefit extensively from synergies between the products and markets of both companies. This acquisition also enables the Schauenburg International Group to enter and take advantage of a high growth sector of the analytical instrument business.
