| Overview: | To streamline LC-MS workflows and accelerate sample cleanup and preparation, Thermo Fisher Scientific is launching the Thermo Scientific™ Transcend™ VLTX-1 ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) system. Alleviating time-intensive, manual processes that impact consistency in the laboratory, the system automates complex sample cleanup and preparation workflows to minimize manual errors and increase sample throughput.
Sample preparation is a major bottleneck in many laboratories but is required to eliminate effects from complex biological and environmental matrices in LC-MS assays. The Transcend VTLX-1 UHPLC system overcomes these challenges by enabling rapid, online sample cleanup using Thermo Scientific TurboFlow™ technology or solid phase extraction (SPE) to enhance the lab’s sample throughput, sensitivity and method robustness for greater efficiency, data quality, and reproducibility.
