Overview: |
Thermo Fisher Scientific introduces the Thermo Scientific™ M Series Centrifuges, designed to deliver exceptional performance in a compact footprint to support the pace and precision modern laboratories need.
The M Series Centrifuges integrate seamlessly into laboratory workflows and support more sustainable lab workflows while still offering precise performance. They offer several rotor options, including dual-row and micro-volume processing, enabling researchers to run different sample types and volumes with a single centrifuge. They also include Thermo Scientific™ GreenCool™ Technology featuring a next-generation natural refrigerant (R600a) with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 3. The GreenCool Technology is also compliant with European Union and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency F-gas regulations. The M Series Centrifuges also offer 15% less energy consumption compared to previous models and are manufactured in a certified zero-waste facility in Osterode am Harz, Germany.
“The M Series Centrifuges help deliver the powerful performance needed by modern labs combined with more sustainable innovation,” said Noreen Hong, vice president and general manager of growth, protection and separation at Thermo Fisher Scientific. “As the latest addition to our portfolio of centrifuges featuring next-generation natural refrigerants, they are a testament to our work to offer more sustainable centrifugation options without sacrificing the precision we know our customers need.”
