Thermo Fisher Scientific Lists Four-Channel HPLC as Class I Medical Device

SAN JOSE, Calif. –– Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced that The Thermo Scientific Prelude LX-4 MD HPLC has been listed as an FDA Class I medical device for general clinical use. The device features four parallel channels which can deliver up to four different separations to a single mass spectrometer to enhance sample throughput. The channels can run identical or different methods simultaneously.
