UKRAINE INVASION: VERDER SUSPENDS ALL TRADING & BUSINESS WITH RUSSIA AND BELARUS

The human suffering especially in Ukraine is very substantial and our thoughts are with all the victims of this unjustified war.

The situation due to the Russian invasion in Ukraine is worsening quickly and a deep concern. The human suffering especially in Ukraine is very substantial and our thoughts are with all the victims of this unjustified war.

Our business is of course suffering from the situation as well. As of today, we have decided to suspend all trading with Russia and Belarus and will take no more orders directly or indirectly from this region. Outstanding orders will undergo double scrutiny regarding international trade restrictions and our personal judgement in addition. Essentially, this means that our successful Russian office will have no more work or commercial activities as long as the current situation is not dramatically improved.

We do have a material financial impact but it will not change the strong financial position of the group in any way.

Within Verder Scientific and the broader group, we are currently committed to find a role for all our 19 Russian colleagues who cannot be blamed for the situation. It is our intention and primary task to make sure that their situation in regard to the work in Verder is sustained but in different and international roles.

We are also in close contact with our trading partners in Ukraine, and are committed to support them as well as we support the Ukrainian people.

Our exposure from Russia, Belarus or Ukraine with regard to supply is limited to none and we do not expect any negative impact because of it.
