Wageningen, The Netherlands — Through a recently signed contract VHLGenetics, a leading European genomic and veterinary diagnostic concern with laboratories in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, has become a new reseller of innovative GeneSeek® genomic products.

A recent agreement between VHLGenetics and Neogen provides VHLGenetics with access to the wide range of unique GeneSeek Genomic Profiler® (GGP) product lines, including those for cattle, swine and horse. The genomic product line includes parentage, defect and trait testing for all the major species through the use of a wide range of diagnostic platforms.

Through the Netherlands based business unit Dr. Van Haeringen Laboratorium BV(VHL), VHLGenetics has been working with Neogen’s veterinary genomic subsidiaries GeneSeek and Igenity for many years. Acquiring an Illumina HiSCan®, VHLGenetics can now offer the key GGP products to producers in the Netherlands, and elsewhere in Europ. The GGP line uses custom Illumina® products, and has become the global standard for genomic testing in a variety of species.

VHLGenetics employs state-of-the-art tools for data management and bioinformatics, ensuring easy access of data in the format that best fits a producer’s needs.
