Global Distributor secures property in Visalia

PHILADELPHIA – VWR International, LLC announced today that the company will build a new facility in Visalia, Calif. The location, approximately 500,000 square feet in size, will enhance VWR’s distribution network and continue to provide a productive supply chain solution for the Western United States.

The facility, expected to be operational in 2012, will assure VWR’s ability to provide seamless customer service to the company’s current and expanding customer base. “We realize that our success stems from placing our customers and suppliers as our top priority and then providing the right resources, processes and tools to get the work done,” stated Matt Malenfant, SVP and President of North America, Lab Distribution and Services. “VWR is building the processes and systems needed to support our business and ensure operational excellence.”
