Schaumburg, IL – Yamazen Inc., national machine tool importer and distributor headquartered in Schaumburg, IL celebrated their 50 anniversary in the USA, twenty years after their parent company, Yamazen Corporation, was founded in Japan (1947). Since its establishment in April of 1967, Yamazen Inc. has delivered solutions and has provided support and service to many customers across the USA.

“We have definitely grown over the last fifty years. While sometimes we may have struggled, Yamazen has endured, remained strong and prospered throughout the many changes in the economic climate we have seen these last 5 decades,” said James Hansen, Executive Vice President and COO. “We have created a family of employees that have made Yamazen their home for entire careers, while developing partnerships with the finest machine tool, cutting tool and accessory manufacturing companies in the world. I attribute our success not only to these factors but also working with the right associates and to our valued customers.”

Today, Yamazen has 135 employees nationwide with 12 support and technical centers in 5 regions that service the entire USA.

Looking forward, Yamazen plans to expand its service and support to its existing and potential new customers while providing them with the highest quality of innovative products and technologies. “Meeting the needs of our customers and building on our relationships is what will help Yamazen Inc. continue to prosper,” said Mr. Hansen.

Vendors, associates and employees from Japan and across the USA came to participate in Yamazen Inc.’s milestone anniversary celebration in Schaumburg the first week in October. The event began with an open house that was held at the company headquarters. Lunch was served to its employees and prestigious guests as they were able to tour the facility. The celebration event concluded at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago with dinner, business addresses, comradery and fun. A great evening was had by all
