Singapore 5/30/08—Hong Kong-based Techcomp, a manufacturer and distributor of analytical instruments, and laboratory equipment firm Bibby Scientific have announced the formation of a fifty-fifty joint venture. Techcomp will manufacture products under Bibby’s brand names Jenway, Techne and Stuart for the local and export markets. The Hong Kong-based joint venture will also serve as Bibby’s distribution point for the Asian region. Jenway provides spectrophotometry and electrochemistry equipment, Techne offers temperature control and calibration equipment, and Stuart offers temperature control and motion equipment.
