AB SCIEX and LECO Partner
AB SCIEX told IBO it is emphasizing its TripleTOF MS accurate mass technology as part of the bundled solutions. Both companies will provide application support and service. The partnership allows AB SCIEX to compete more effectively against Agilent and Thermo Fisher Scientific, which each can offer both GC and LC systems.
St. Joseph, MI 3/18/13—LECO and AB SCIEX have announced a comarketing agreement in North America and Europe for the sale of bundled solutions for metabolomics research. The products covered by the agreement are LECO’s GC-TOF MS and AB SCIEX’s LC/MS systems. “Representing a virtual one-stop shop for metabolomics mass spectrometry, the joint bundles from AB SCIEX and LECO provide users with greater flexibility in chromatography while obtaining the rich information that MS/MS delivers,” stated Aaron Hudson, senior director, Academic and Omics Business at AB SCIEX.
