Analytik Jena Adds Microarrays to Bioinstrumentation Business

Developed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute of Silicon Technology, Siemens AG and Infineon Technologies AG, eBiochip’s microarray employs ELISA and produces an electric signal that is measured directly on the chip. It can be used to detect DNA, RNA, proteins and haptens. Analytik Jena cited the company’s sample preparation chemistry as synergistic.
