In June, Bruker introduced a new version of the D8 ADVANCE XRD system, featuring the TRIO optic for automated switching between divergent beam, intensity parallel beam and Cu-Kα1 parallel beam. It also features extended XRD2 functionality.
Shimadzu launched the AA-6880F atomic absorption spectrophotometer aimed at users in emerging markets. It was developed by Shimadzu China, and features a newly designed 3-D optical system.
