BioInformatics Inc., a provider of market research and consulting services, and the publisher of IBO, has expanded. BioInformatics Inc. announced on March 13 the purchase of IMV Publishing, a market research company serving the medical imaging and clinical diagnostic instruments markets.

IMV joins a family of properties—BioInformatics Inc., Strategic Directions International, the Science Advisory Board and IBO—to form the Science and Medicine Group. Services include business intelligence and market research, digital media and marketing, publishing, and access to curated online communities of scientific and medical professionals.
