Life Technologies granted Suzhou Ribo Life Sciences exclusive rights to develop and manufacture siRNA therapeutics in China using its Invivofectamine Rx delivery technology.

In July, Life Technologies announced a long-term supply and exclusive licensing agreement with Novartis for immunotherapeutics involving T cells modified to express chimeric antigen receptors for the treatment of cancer. Life will provide its Dynabeads CD3/CD28 CTS technology.

Takara Bio granted Cellular Dynamics International in June a license to its RetroNectin product, which is used for retrovirus-mediated gene transduction.

In July, Bulldog Bio gained exclusive distribution rights to many of Nippon Genetics Europe’s electrophoresis and cell biology products in North America.

Eurofins Panlabs gained exclusive rights to offer GE Healthcare’s Cytiva Cardiomyocytes for drug discovery and early development cardio toxicity screening services.

In August, Sanguine BioSciences named AMS Biotechnology (AMSBIO) a distributor for Europe.

Thermo Fisher Scientific introduced the Thermo Scientific HyClone HyCell-STEM and HyCell-STEM-FF stem cell culture media, which optimize expansion rate.

In June, Life Technologies released the Epi5 Episomal iPSC Reprogramming Vectors.

EMD Millipore released Cellvento CHO-200 chemically defined cell culture medium, which is optimized for fed-batch processes using CHO-S cell types expressing monoclonal antibodies.

AMSBIO introduced in June a new range of 96-well format 3D Spheroid Proliferation/Viability Assays for modeling tumor response in vitro. They utilize a 3D culture–qualified 96-well spheroid formation plate.

Cambridge Epigenetix launched TrueMethyl kits, which provide single-base resolution sequencing of the modified bases 5-hmC and 5-mC.
