Germany’s Molnar-Institut acquired DryLab chromatography modeling software and the MethodMatch and ColumnMatch software from Rheodyne in 2006.

Dionex established a European customer support center in 2006 in Olten, Switzerland. It joins the company’s other support centers in the US, China and Thailand.

Dionex opened a new North American sales and service facility in Bannockburn, Illinois in December 2006.

Eksigent Technologies appointed Axel Semrau GmbH & Co. KG to distribute its NanoLC and ExpressLC product lines in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Benelux.

UK-based Presearch will distribute Eksigent’s NanoLC product line in the UK and Ireland.

Waters released the ACQUITY UPLC OST C18 columns and the Xbridge OXT C18 columns for the purification and analysis of oligonucleotides.

Dionex launched Acclaim Fast LC columns.

Dionex introduced the Acclaim Mixed-Mode WAX-1 weak anion-exchange column, featuring reversed-phase and ion-exchange chromatography on a single phase.

Dionex introduced the ProSwift SAX-1S and WCX-1S monolith columns for protein separations.

Sigma-Aldrich Supelco launched the Ascentis Express HPLC column, the result of its partnership with Advanced Materials Technology. It is initially available in C18 and C8 stationary phases.

Varian Polymer Laboratories introduced the PL aquagel-OH 10 and the PL aquagel-OH 20 5 µm columns.

Varian Polymer Laboratories released a new medium polarity gel permeation chromatography/size exclusive chromatography column for use in polar solvents.
