In November, AMETEK named Dave Hermance as vice president and general manger of its Measurement & Calibration Technologies Division. Most recently, he served as vice president and business unit manager of the Sensor Technologies business unit.

MTS Systems revenues for the fiscal year ending October 3 slipped 0.1% to $563.9 million (see IBO 12/15/15) but grew 4.8% organically. Organic growth benefited from a strong opening backlog, increased service revenue and extra selling days. Organic sales for Test advanced 4.5% to account for 82% of revenues. Materials accounted for around 30% of Test revenue.
