Advanced Chemistry Development released in March its processing software for 1D and 2D NMR, free of charge to students and educators.

Bruker introduced the SampleXpress autosampler for medium-throughput NMR automation. It can hold up to 60 standard-length NMR tubes and is compatible with all Bruker AVANCE NMR spectrometers. The product line includes the affordable entry-level SampleXpress Lite, which can hold up to 16 samples.

Chenomx released Chenomx NMR Suite 7.0, featuring single-compound autofit and an improved spectral-binning wizard.

Sales/Orders of Note

Bruker announced in May a multisystem order, which included the ultra high-field AVANCE III 900 US2 NMR spectrometer, from Vanderbilt University that was funded by US stimulus spending.

In June, Bruker announced an order for the first ultra high-field MRI CryoProbe in North America, which will be installed at the F.M. Kirby Research Center for Functional Brain Imaging at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. The order was funded by stimulus spending.
