Freeman Technology Limited (Welland, UK) and the Sysmex Corporation (Kobe, Japan) have entered into an agreement whereby Sysmex will have exclusive distribution rights in Japan for Freeman’s FT4 Powder Rheometer. The conclusion of this deal follows successful trials of the FT4 in the Japanese marketplace. The FT4 utilizes novel technology an a patented design to provide sensitive and reproducible powder flowability measurements that offer a real insight into the characteristics and complete behavior of powders. Dry and wet powders are evaluated in relation to key processing variables such as aeration, consolidation and moisture content.
