The new electronic ErgoOne® E 8 and 12 channel pipettes with a volume range of 50 – 1250 µl are now available

Hamburg — Hamburg-based manufacturer of laboratory products Starlab International is introducing new models to its ErgoOne E multi-channel pipette series. The latest ErgoOne E multi-channel pipettes with a capacity of up to 1250 µl complement the existing Starlab product portfolio to enable precise and efficient pipetting in laboratories worldwide. The product family now includes five models to cover volumes 0.5 to 1250 µl in either 8 or 12 channels. “Our task as a manufacturer is to optimise work processes in laboratories with our products while also making everyday life easier for scientists”, says Klaus Ambos, Managing Director of Starlab International GmbH.

Product development: Focus on the needs of laboratory employees

The ErgoOne E multi-channel pipettes are characterized by their high accuracy, user-friendliness and ergonomic design. They enable precise dosages with volumes of up to 1250 µl and also simplify the pipetting process. According to Starlab, this leads to increased efficiency and productivity in laboratories. Ambos: “The new models were developed specifically at the request of researchers and laboratory specialists. Their larger volumes make them ideal for dispensing larger quantities simultaneously, such as when filling microtiter plates.”

ErgoOne E: electronic, ergonomic, efficient

The aim behind the development of the ErgoOne E models was to relieve researchers of repetitive pipetting tasks. The new ErgoOne E models with a maximum volume of 1250 µl have four operating modes: pipetting, reverse pipetting, mixing and dispensing. The intuitive menu navigation, low weight and ergonomic design ensure ease of use – even over long periods of time. “Users must be able to operate the pipettes easily and without complex programming. The pipettes make it easier to reproduce laboratory results because the pipetting processes are automated. Settings such as sample volume and speed of aspiration and delivery can be precisely defined and recorded. This ensures that each pipetting technique is used consistently regardless of which laboratory employee carries out the work”, explains Klaus Ambos. The individually adjustable finger grip allows the user to optimally adapt the pipette to their needs. The robust construction guarantees longevity and reliability, even in demanding laboratory conditions. The long-life battery can be charged during use. For optimal precision and accuracy, Starlab recommends using TipOne tips and regular calibration using the Starlab pipette service.

The new models are available now. At an attractive price of ₤897.74 for the 8-channel model and ₤1,047.91 for the 12-channel model, they are a cost-effective option for laboratories of all sizes.
