KmK Instrument AB in Västerås and Stresstech Oy in Finland have signed a cooperation agreement where KmK Instrument takes over the responsibility for distribution, sales and service of Stresstech’s products in Sweden from 2024-01-01.

KmK Instrument offers various forms of measuring equipment to companies in Swedish industry. With specialist expertise in measurement technology, material testing and non-destructive testing, they help to find the right measurement solution for all applications. KmK Instrument AB is accredited according to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The accreditation covers ambulatory calibration of pressure and tensile testing machines and hardness testers, which is part of the service activities where 6 technicians work. KmK Instrument has more than 30 years of experience in non-destructive testing, mainly regarding crack testing with electromagnetic methods, such as eddy current and others, which are integrated directly into production lines.

Per Lundin and Stress Service, which until 2022-12-31 was a distributor, has worked with Stresstech in Sweden in various constellations since 2000. During 2023 he has mainly worked with education, service and research projects in the field of residual stresses, and Stresstech has managed the sale of instruments and systems during the year. Per has promised to help with the transition to KmK during 2024.
