FOXBORO, MA, February 1, 2007– Invensys has introduced a line of 3A-authorized sanitary vortex flowmeters for use in pharmaceutical applications. The new, HART-compatible Foxboro Model 84S Sanitary Vortex flowmeters incorporate patented technologies that provide users with unprecedented reliability, accuracy, and installation flexibility for tighter process control.
“The 84S Vortex flowmeter line provides higher accuracy and wider rangeability than other sanitary flow measurement devices, including both positive displacement and magnetic flowmeters — without the mechanical complexity or high cost,” said Joseph Downey, marketing director, Foxboro Measurements & Instruments division of Invensys. “The straightforward design of the 84S Sanitary Vortex flowmeter ensures accurate, reliable performance with an overall low cost of ownership for pharmaceutical processing applications.”
