NanoQuot Microplate Dispenser To Be Featured At LabAutomation 2007

BioTek Instruments Inc., today announced that the new NanoQuot™ Microplate Dispenser is now in full production, expanding BioTek’s line of liquid handling products. Each product shipped will now include the new NanoQuot PC Control Software for intuitive and flexible dispense program creation and liquid profile management making it easy for the researcher to quickly change dispense solutions characterized by different viscosities. A .NET Developers Software Package is available to make integration into automated robotic systems simple. NanoQuot’s high speed, low volume non-contact dispensing, based on BioTek’s proprietary dispense technology, allows easy miniaturization of assays used in various fields of life sciences including genomics, drug discovery, proteomics and diagnostics. NanoQuot offers scientists non-contact dispensing of reagents and samples across a very broad range of volumes from 0.1 to 40 µl in 96-, 384- and 1536-well microplates.

Precise and reproducible dispense technology in the NanoQuot allows for consistent performance without troublesome cassette recalibration – a common obstacle associated with other liquid dispense technologies. For unattended liquid dispensing in multiple microplates, BioTek’s Bio-Stack Microplate Stacker may be used.

BioTek will feature the NanoQuot at the upcoming LabAutomation 2007 conference in Palm Springs, CA from January 28-30, 2007. In addition to detailed demonstrations of NanoQuot combined with the Bio-Stack™ Microplate Stacker at Booth #453, a technical poster entitled, “NanoQuot™, A Cost Effective Flexible Nanoliter Dispenser for High Throughput Screening” will be presented. A limited-time promotion will coincide with the conference, offering the NanoQuot Microplate Dispenser combined with the Bio-Stack Microplate Stacker at a special price.

NanoQuot will also be showcased at the new “Late Night With LRIG: Rapid-Fire Innovation Session”, to be held January 29, 2007 at the Mojave Room of the Wyndham Palm Springs Hotel from 7-10pm. Moderated by The Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) and the Laboratory Robotics Interest Group (LRIG), this forum provides interactive education and discussions on the latest innovations in laboratory automation and technology products and services for researchers.
