OSI Systems Awarded $4.4 Million Order for TSA’s Advanced Technology Program
HAWTHORNE, Calif.–OSI Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:OSIS – News), a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the security and healthcare industries, announced today that its Security division, Rapiscan Systems, has been awarded a follow on order for $4.4 million from the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for its 620DV Advanced Technology X-ray systems. The order was placed under the company’s previously announced Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with the TSA that included follow on options of up to $97 million.
The order will be used to fulfill the deployment of Advanced Technology (AT) Passenger Carry-On Bag Screening Systems at select U.S. airport locations.
