Oxon, UK- On October 2,2002, managers at Oxford Instruments Analytical’s Process Systems purchased certain assets and intellectual property from the company. The new company formed by the management buy out, Progression Inc., located in Maine, will have exclusive distribution rights to Oxford Instruments’ benchtop NMR analyzers in the US and Canada. It will also develop and sell MagModule on-line NMR analyzers, MagStation off-line NMR analyzers and Correlflow mass flow and electostatic instrumenation. Oxford Instruments stated that it will focus on laboratory NMR and at-line and hand-held x-ray flurorescence.
