Columbia, MD 1/3/12—Shimadzu has named Shuzo Maruyama president of Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (SSI), its American subsidiary, effective December 19. He was most recently the general manager of Shimadzu’s LC business and is a 29-year veteran of the company.
