Mikkeli, Finland 6/1/15 and Helsinki, Finland 6/1/15—Private equity firm VersoVentures has acquired Environics, a supplier of industrial gas detection as well as chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear monitoring solutions, for an undisclosed amount. ”The gas detection market is estimated to grow, driven by increased demands in personnel safety, environmental protection and process efficiency,” commented Anssi Kariola, managing partner at VersoVentures. The additional funding will accelerate R&D and expand international sales.
