Radnor, PA 4/3/12—Laboratory supply and distribution firm VWR International has acquired Czech Republic–based distributions VITRUM PRAHA and VITRUM ROZNOV for an undisclosed amount. “This acquisition marks our continued commitment to Central and Eastern Europe,” stated Manuel Brocke-Benz, VWR senior vice president and managing director of European Operations. “VITRUM is well established and recognized nationally throughout the Czech Republic for coupling the right product mix with a customer-centric approach to the science community.” VITRUM PRAHA is headquartered in Prague and VITRUM ROZNOV is headquartered in Roznov.
