The Electron Probe Microanalysis facility at Banaras Hindu University celebrates two years with maximum utilization and performance in all fields of research from Geology, Botany, Chemistry and Microbiology, to Physics, Metallurgical Engineering, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.

On the occasion, N.V. Chalapathi Rao, Professor at BHU Institute of Science and leader of the EPMA facility, shares a 3-page compilation of the SXFive’s performance. Over the past 24 months, the instrument has supported projects by scientists from multiple Indian Universities and world-leading research institutes: naming only a few, the Departments of Geology of Universities of Kashmir, Culcutta, Lucknow, Punjab, New Dehli, the National Geophysical Research Institute Hyderabad, Indian Institute of Geomagnetism Allahabad, Atomic Mineral Directorate of Bengaluri, Medical College and Hospital of Kopa, Karnataka…
