San Diego, CA – In a move to accomodate its growing business, laboratory consumables manufacturer Biotix Inc. announced today that it has entered into a lease agreement to relocate the company’s corporate headquarters to a larger facility in San Diego.

The new facility, located at 9880 Mesa Rim Road, will enable Biotix to combine their corporate headquarters, warehousing and shipping operations under one location. The new 46,000 square foot facility will also provide Biotix with production capabilities in the United States, supplementing their existing manufacturing operations in Baja California, Mexico.

“We have been very pleased with the quality and performance of our ISO 9001 certified production plant in Baja and have no plans to change those operations,” said Paul Nowak, CEO of Biotix. “The new facility will enable us to streamline our operations and provide us with the additional manufacturing capacity to support our growing business.”

Contributing to the company’s recent growth was the launch of its premier Biotix brand pipette tips and its Neptune 2.0 product line, both distributed by VWR International, LLC. “As the results of our joint sales and marketing efforts continue to grow, we are pleased with Biotix’s plans to expand their operations,” said Mark McLoughlin, Senior Vice President of Category Management for VWR.
