In March 2017, at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical completed commissioning of the X-ray wavelength dispersive flowstream pulp analyzer AP-35-A manufactured by Bourevestnik Inc. The instrument installed within the frames of “Involvement of off-balance dump mines of the «Kalmakyr» deposit. A special feature of this project is a comprehensive replacement of the outdated analyzer AR-31, which has worked for more than 20 years.

Analyzer AR-35 represents a fully-automated analytical complex intended for continuous X-ray fluorescence on-stream chemical analysis of pulps and solutions. The instrument allows simultaneous determination of concentrations up to 7 chemical element (from ²⁰Ca to ⁹²U) in 15 technological products with a discreteness of 1 every 15 minutes, while measurement time does not exceed 40 seconds.
