CLC bio moves Danish headquarters to landmark building in Aarhus

Aarhus Denmark — CLC bio moved their Danish headquarters to Prismet – a local landmark highrise office building in Aarhus. Experiencing significant growth due to a long term positive development in sales, the number of employees at CLC bio has increased by more than 50% worldwide in the past two years.

CEO at CLC bio, Thomas Knudsen, states, “This is yet another big step up for us, having outgrown our previous locations twice now. Today we reside in a new modern office building, with a beautiful 360 degree view of Aarhus city. This move signifies the growth of the company, going from a startup in 2005 to being an established, global, and market leading

company today. And we’re not stopping here as our new office building leverages plenty of opportunities to grow in the future!”

The Mayor of Aarhus, Jacob Bundsgaard, states, “Experiencing CLC bio’s development from an incubator-based startup company in 2005, to a market leading international company, is inspiring to all the high-tech and knowledge-based companies from the Aarhus region.

Moving into Prismet is a stamp of success that is recognized by everyone in the region and can possibly accelerate their already impressive track record of attracting international life science experts to Aarhus.”

Renowned Danish architects Friis & Moltke designed the highrise office building, called Prismet, which is the third tallest building in the region. Prismet was completed in 2001 and is situated in downtown Aarhus, next to The Old Town, an open-air town museum that is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Aarhus with more than 3 million visitors per year.
