Digilab, Inc. Introduces the ProPrep-LC Automated Protein Digestion Workstation

Holliston, MA – Digilab, Inc. announces the introduction of the ProPrep-LC Automated Protein Digestion Workstation. The ProPrep-LC is designed to perform reliable automation of in-gel and in-solution protein digestion followed by sample preparation for LC-MS. The ProPrep-LC is the only instrument that has been specifically designed for this purpose and provides piece of mind and your samples the best treatment.

The ProPrep-LC comes standard with one reaction block, however can be upgraded to have up to four reaction blocks that can be independently controlled. The ProPrep-LC can also be upgraded to a ProPrep II which allows samples to be spotted to commercially available MALDI plates in addition to LC vials.

The ProPrep-LC performs the digestion in temperature controlled, 96 well, flow-through reaction blocks. The ProPrep-LC offers reagent chilling, the use of multiple enzymes, extremely accurate liquid handling and both In-gel and In-solution digestion. The ProPrep-LC has the ability to perform customizable as well as multiple protocols, and all reactions and liquid handling is performed in a fully enclosed, HEPA filtered environment.
