Stockholm, Sweden – Perten Instruments presents the Micro Mirror Module – a sample presentation system for the DA 7200 which enables easy and accurate analysis of extremely small samples.

The Micro Mirror Module is designed for small sample amounts such as kernels, seeds, and small amounts of powders or meals. A few kernels or grams are enough. Simply pour the sample onto the mirror surface and place beneath the DA 7200.

The Micro Mirror Module is unique in that it only gathers the light which has interacted with the sample. The stray light never enters the instrument. The signal to noise ratio improves accuracy – particularly for complex parameters and low concentrations. Many of the existing calibrations from Perten Instruments can be used with the Micro Mirror Module meaning only simple bias adjustment to the local labe are required – essentially ready out-of-the-box.
